    Quite unique post-modernist dining table or square desk by Emile Souply. Belgium 1960.


    Emile Souply (1933 - 2013) studied silversmithing and art at the Ecole des metiers d’art de Maredsous from 1945-53. His works places object as a reflexion under various practices such as sculpture, jewelry, furniture design and concept architecture.

    In the 60’s he produces with Belgian Firm E.M.Y. from Kortenberg some mostly chromed metal functional furnitures in simple and geometric shapes for customers, societies and church fabric.

    Co-founder in 1962 of the « Groupe Design » among with J-P Emonds-Alt, A. De Vinck, Lucien Kroll, L. Van Malderen
